Go to mayoclinic.com and type in Add. This is a medical site for different conditions. It also covers self help medical information which is very useful. I use it all of the time. Most medicines used for add are amphetamines which are stimulants. Your dr. can only diagnose add, but this site is very educating. ADHD is attention deficit hyper disorder which most kids are diagnosed with and ADD is just like you said attention deficit disorder diagnosed in most adults.
